my summer, motorcycle, hume lake, and more...

so i haven't written in....oh several months. it has been quite the eventful summer. let me start with where i left off. Hume SD. about 2 weeks after school got out this past semester i went to work for Hume Lake...running a full on Hume summer camp down at pt lomas campus. we did two weeks of jr high and two weeks of high school. we averaged about 600 a week with out largest being 800 high schoolers. kinda crazy. but freakin SICK. I loved everything about it. we did everything from recreation to afternoon activities(mission bay wakeboarding, kayaking, sailing, mission beach surfing beach, skate park, etc.), to making sure whatever needed to get done to make sure the camp ran smoothly, to just hanging out with the kids.....so awesome. time of my life.

after that i came back to Escondido and kept working construction/finish cabinetry/metal work...so definitely a variety of work, but the pay was decent. :) thus, my motorcycle.

it is a 2000 Kawasaki ninja zx900r.

she is sexy. and i am in love. :)

I took off work a little early this last Thursday(Aug 7th) got my check for the last two weeks, went home, changed, went to the bank, cashed in, pulled out the drug money, and headed down, and picked up that gorgeous piece of metal.

rode it all night, and went out to the cost the next morning, came back home, then left for Hume that afternoon. and have been here since. so sad. i cant wait to get back and take her out.

So I get back tomorrow, wed the 13th, and then the next day Rock For Justice is is going to warped tour down in San Diego at cricket wireless(coors amp)....we were able to get a non-profit booth there that we will be letting give a damn share with us. it should be pretty sick! if you're going to the SD warped or the LA warped(Sunday the 17th) we will be at both. Come say hi!!

Hume Lake is beautiful, as always. I have missed my home away from home. it has been too long since I've been here. a year, i think. to the day pretty much. ha. yesterday was my brother Nathans birthday, so he's freakin old now. 29. awesome. my family went for a sunset hike out to this massive point/mountain called buena vista. it's this huge rock mountain overlooking the majority of peaks around it, looking back toward buck rock, and out towards Fresno. there was a crapload of smog in the valley, so the sunset was epic. intricate layers of orange, yellow, red, and blue.

right now I'm just relaxing in the snack shop hanging out with friends and writing in between.

also, I got an early birthday present. ha....its a canon SD750 mini elf.

i lovveee it.

many picture albums are in the future.

ok. out for now.
